Sydney designs the part of the property most people get to last — and wish they'd gotten to first. Her work covers outdoor living, planting design, and whole-property layout: how the drive arrives, what you see from the kitchen window, where the shade will be in ten years.
Before joining CDS she spent [X] years on the review side of Carlton Woods, one of The Woodlands' most tightly controlled communities, reading landscape submittals and deciding which ones met the standard. If you're building somewhere with an architectural review committee, that matters in a specific way: she has read hundreds of the packages that cross that table and knows what gets approved the first time. A rejection costs weeks.
She plants for the climate that's actually here. Gulf Coast heat, clay soil, a hard freeze every few years, and eight weeks each summer where nothing forgives a bad choice.
